Hours and Admission

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is open during the summer from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for everyone to enjoy the park. Read more for special exhibits and things to do while you’re there.

Exhibits at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs

Exhibits at the Visitor & Nature Center explore the science, history, and geology of the area’s fascinating landscape. Geology exhibits explore rock formations, dinosaur fossils discovered in the vicinity, and Colorado’s mountains.

Flora & Fauna exhibits let you learn all about the area’s inhabitants – the plants and animals that call it home.

People & History exhibits explore the ancient tribes that lived in concert with nature, the roving buffalo, and early explorers.

Things to Do

Besides exploring the landscape, there are lots of things to do at the park. Grab your camera and head to various scenic spots to get that perfectly framed shot. Hike one of the many trails, or take a bike ride along winding, paved roads.
With so many rock formations and sheer rock faces, adventure-seekers can take on the challenge of rock climbing. If you’d prefer a more relaxing, informative activity, try out a Jeep or Segway Tour to take in the sights.
